The everyday Curate experience is free and stays that way; a subscription enters the picture only for Curate for Sommeliers, the paid offering for exam candidates. This page covers managing that subscription from your account.
The Subscription Card
The Subscription card in account settings shows your plan — plans are named by exam path: CMS Certified, CMS Advanced/Master, WSET All Levels — along with its status and renewal date. The statuses mean what they say: Active, Auto-Renew Off (running until the current period ends), Payment Past Due (the last charge needs attention), and Inactive.
What each plan includes, and current pricing, live in one place: Plans & What They Include.
Managing Billing
Manage Subscription opens Curate's billing portal, hosted by Stripe — payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation all live there, handled by the same infrastructure that carries your card details so Curate itself never holds them. Cancellation takes effect at the period's end; your notes and library are untouched either way — a lapsed plan closes the blind tasting formats, not your account, and the Sommelier dashboard's history stays readable for whenever you return.
Purchasing a Plan
Plans are purchased on the Curate for Sommeliers page — there is no in-app checkout. Members without a plan see the pointer there in place of the subscription details, and every format remains explorable in demo before any money changes hands. Every plan also carries a 14-day money-back guarantee; details with the plans, at Plans & What They Include.
If you subscribed and the app hasn't caught up, a fresh sign-in usually settles it; failing that, the support channel on the site will.
On iPhone and iPad
In the native iOS app, subscription management is directed to the website — visit curate.wine in a browser to purchase or manage a plan.
