Plans & What They Include

The three Curate for Sommeliers plans, their formats and features, and how billing works

Curate for Sommeliers is sold as plans by the exam — you subscribe to the path you're studying, and the blind tasting formats, Study Reports, and session tools for that path come with it. This page is the single home for what each plan includes and what it costs; everywhere else in these docs defers to it.

Every plan carries the full Study Reports layer for its formats, the Variable Timer and Progress Panel, and the practice coverage tracked in Exam-Relevant Wine Styles.

Blind tastings themselves are unlimited on every plan. The voice features — Dictation + Transcription and Voice Control — run in CMS Advanced/Master sessions with recording enabled, and sessions with voice features active carry an allowance: 20 per period on monthly billing, 250 on annual, resetting at each renewal.

The Insights Concierge is a bespoke manual review of your practice record, included on every plan while the subscription is active. Once your library holds around thirty blind tasting notes, submit a request naming the area you want examined; our team reviews the in-scope notes and delivers a focused write-up — one or two interactive visualizations with a few hundred words of analysis — usually within 2–4 days. After the first review, a further one can be requested every 60 days, or after every 50 new tasting notes.

Trying Before Subscribing

Formats outside your plan — or any format, before you have one — remain explorable as demos: the full blind tasting note builder, with selections that aren't saved. It's the honest way to feel a format's depth before paying for it. And the free Curate experience never enters into it: everyday Quick, Standard, and Advanced notes stay free on the same account, plan or no plan.

Billing

Subscriptions are purchased on the Curate for Sommeliers page and billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Management — payment method, invoices, plan changes, cancellation — lives in your account's Subscription card, which opens the Stripe billing portal. See Subscription & Billing.

Every plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee: if Curate for Sommeliers isn't a fit, say so within 14 days of starting the subscription for a full refund. Current purchase terms are stated alongside the plans on that page.

And if a subscription lapses, the blind tasting formats close but nothing is lost: your dashboard history stays readable for as long as your account exists, and resubscribing picks up where you left off.

Choosing by Exam Path

The plan names are the guidance: studying for the CMS Certified examination, take CMS Certified; working through Advanced toward Master, take CMS Advanced/Master; anywhere on the WSET ladder, WSET All Levels covers Levels 2 through 4 as you climb. If your exam date moves or your path changes, plans can be switched from the billing portal — your Study Reports history stays with your account.
