Three cards in account settings tune Curate to you: the units and hints it uses, the styles and regions you love, and the record of your wine credentials. None take more than a minute; all of them follow you across devices.
Preferences
Temperature unit — Celsius or Fahrenheit for serving temperatures, in the builder and everywhere else.
Volume unit — milliliters or fluid ounces for pours and amounts.
Orientation mode — governs Orientation Tooltips, the inline hints attached to the builder's controls while the interface is new. The default for all three is Automatic: sensible unit guesses, and tooltips that appear while you're new and recede as you find your feet. Set any of them explicitly and Curate stops guessing.
Tooltips can also be toggled per note from the builder's Tools menu — the preference sets the default, the note can differ. See How the Tasting Note Builder Works.
Taste Profile
The Taste Profile card records your favorite styles and favorite regions — up to twenty of each, chosen from the same shared vocabulary the rest of Curate uses. Think of it as telling Curate where your palate lives.
Exams & Credentials
The Exams & Credentials card is a personal record of your certifications: institution — CMS, WSET, and a long list of others from ASI to the Wine Scholar Guild — with the exam date, outcome, and honors. It keeps a career's worth of letters in one tidy place.
